EZ4FP – Test bench enabled chassis library with various levels of detail as the basis for a center of competence for integrated testing and simulation

The joint project “EZ4FP” heeds the call of many manufacturers for a continuous toolchain in the vehicle development process.

The goal is a “test bench enabled chassis library with various levels of detail as the basis for a center of competence for integrated testing and simulation”. Together with its project partners Auto Mobil Forschung Dresden GmbH (AMFD) and the Department of Vehicle Technologies at the Dresden University of Technology, ESI ITI will develop valid (sub-)system models for the development of vehicles by September 2018. The plans include the development of a chassis library with several sub-models and various levels of detail for offline and XiL simulations. Other key areas are concepts for variable model depth and test bench based parameterization as well as the development of suitable validation methods. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund allocated by the European Union.
